Leigh Spinners' Indoor Bowling group can be found inside the Grade II listed Leigh Spinners' Mills on the newly refurbished second floor, which has been dedicated to a variety of sports.  The group is run by volunteers all over 50, who want to include wheelchair users in the new group.  

This will be a first for the area, as there are no other wheelchairs bowling facilities in the borough.  They have received the funding for four specialised Para-Handy bowling wheelchairs from the Ambition for Ageing project in Wigan Borough.
